The Road Not Taken


Aku memang suka subjek bahasa. Tak kira bahasa apa. Ini salah satu puisi Inggeris yang aku suka. Karya Robert Frost. Soal perjalanan & kehidupan, pilihan & ketentuan, peluang & kesempatan. Harus bijak. Entri akan datang aku nak kongsi puisi Arab, sebab dulu belajar maddah (subjek) Adab & Nusus masa zaman Ma'ahad dulu.
Saat belajar subjek BBI1119 (sebut tripple one-nine). Kena belajar komponen Sastera. Guru yang mengajar subjek ini, Teacher Anisah. Wah~ momen yang indah. Novel The Pearl hadir. Coyotitto.. Juana. Ayuh, kita kembalikan nostalgia BBI1119. Kenangan lalu mengusik jiwa.. datang menerpa.

Oh.. aku terbayang Cikgu Ariffin & Cikgu Sabiha mengajar BM. Dan Ustaz Zul Professor mengajar Adab Nusus. Berbahasa... berbicara... Aku... hilang dalam riuh.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference


Itu dia.. Aku pernah berada di simpang itu. Dilema... Kan? Apa-apapun..nak sambung sikit puisi itu. The road not taken. BUT every road leads to Rome. Kita datang dari arah yang berbeza. Namun, kita menuju ke arah satu titik yang sama.. iaitu AKHIRAT.
